Dairy Farm Mini Sessions
Last fall, I joined up with my friends at Richlands Dairy Farm in Blackstone to offer dairy farm mini sessions during their fall festival--we had so much fun that we decided to offer them again during the farm's June Family Farm Day!

Polly Pocket, Wink, and Friends - Holiday Horse Mini Portrait Sessions at Zephyr's Way Stable
I had a great time photographing some just-in-time-for-the-holidays horse+rider mini session at Zephyr's Way Stable in Powhatan. These kids warmed my heart because they were happy to be there just because it meant they got to hang out with their favorite pony. See more from the shoot here. Fall Family of Three Portraits at Pocahontas State Park
I shot a fall family photo session for some lovely friends the other day at Pocahontas Park. We are finally getting some yellow in these trees!
Double Maternity+Family Portrait Session
If one maternity session is good, two is better! These two families are so sweet and they are looking forward to introducing new cousins this fall. Ponies and Unicorns
A while back, I acquired a unicorn horn that fit a horse, and I finally got to put it to use for two back-to-back sessions on a recent Saturday morning. It's something a little different, but a lot of fun to work on! See lots more of the images on my Facebook page.
Families and Seniors
I've been busy doing more family sessions lately, especially now that fall is approaching! We've found some great spots in a few locations--Midlothian Mines and Totopotomoy have both had wonderful background scenery, among other places.
Family Horse Farm Session
I love it when families and couples bring their horses and pets to their sessions, so I especially enjoyed shooting this group at a beautiful setting in Powhatan. The animals were troopers on a very hot day! See more here.
Sunsets and Sun Dresses
I am always a bit nervous picking times for evening sessions since our weather has been all over the place this month, but golden hour worked out perfectly for us this weekend. It helps when you have great models, too!
More Kids, More Ponies
It's hard to get a bad photo when you're shooting kids with their ponies. These guys were all a lot of fun. Spot the outfit that the kid picked out for herself and her pony :)
