I’ve had my busiest May of shooting since I opened up shop, but it’s been a great time! Here are a few highlights, but if you follow along on Facebook, I’ll post plenty more there.
Sunflower sessions!
Sunflowers summer 2020 are a wrap! I shot these during the Alvis Farms 2nd Annual Sunflower Festival in Manakin (a few minutes outside of short pump). The sunflowers were spectacular, the field was huge, and the sunset was great the night I was out there! Looking forward to more—if you’re interested, contact me to ask about some later-summer options at additional farm location or catching me during next year’s summer special at Alvis Farms :)
Sam and Amber | Married
Sam and Amber had a beautiful Mechanicsville wedding last week! I loved their wedding colors and all the greens in their florals. More importantly, they had a beautiful celebration to kick off their next adventures surrounded by great friends and family! Congratulations, guys! View their highlights gallery here.
Mike + Sarah | Married
This couple got married at the Jamestown 4-H setting, which provided a lovely view of the James River and some handy beaches for wedding party photos. They had a beautiful day and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to capture it! View more from their day here.

It is hard to beat a barn wedding when that barn is right in the backyard of your childhood home. Erin and Will picked a beautiful day to celebrate with friends and family and they transformed their Amelia County family farm into a pretty awesome venue for a wedding day! Congratulations, guys! Midlothian Engagement Session
Where to start with this one? These two warmed my heart, and they came with a vision for certain images they'd like to use with their wedding planning--I love bringing those ideas to life! See more images from their winter MIdlothian engagement photoshoot.
Kasey + Jeff - Engagement Session
Ever since I spoke with this couple and we chose to meet up near Williamsburg to shoot some engagement images, I've had this album in my head--it was great to get the images out just like I had envisioned them! And this couple was absolutely wonderful--they were game for getting up at the crack of dawn and standing around outside on a January morning for two hours so that we could take advantage of the best light available. I loved getting to know them and their sweet relationship--this album is going to be a favorite of mine for a long time!

Family Horse Farm Session
I love it when families and couples bring their horses and pets to their sessions, so I especially enjoyed shooting this group at a beautiful setting in Powhatan. The animals were troopers on a very hot day! See more here.
Emily + Dylan
Congrats to these two on their recent engagement! We had a lovely night getting these photos at Dylan's family farm, with the horses making an appearance.
