I’ve had my busiest May of shooting since I opened up shop, but it’s been a great time! Here are a few highlights, but if you follow along on Facebook, I’ll post plenty more there.
Richmond Animal League Calendar Contest Shoots
For the second year, I got to meet and shoot the thirteen winners of the Richmond Animal League calendar contest--these winners raised thousands of dollars to support animals in need and earn a spot on the calendar! You can pre-purchase your very own 2020 RAL calendar to enjoy these cool animals all year and support a great cause. This was a fun job--I got to pet all the dogs and, of course, hang with Marlowe the cover cat! Order yours at https://www.ral.org/
Lulu's Big News
Lulu the Frenchie is having puppies soon—her announcement session is one of the most unique things I’ve gotten to shoot. We had a great time! Check out the rest of her sunsetty session here: https://laurasieglephotographyllc.passgallery.com/-lulu
2018 Fall and Winter Family Photo Catch-Up...and More Ponies!
Fall is usually a busy season, but this one was certainly the biggest I’ve ever had. Here’s a little bit of what I was up to with my “regular” portrait work, and since there were plenty of horse sessions this fall, those are in here too! Keep up with my work on Facebook.
Puppies and Dancers
I've shot a lot of unique sessions, but this was a first--Taylor and Fallon gave me the opportunity to capture outdoor dance images as well as some family images with their new puppies, who were perfectly behaved throughout. These girls made ballet with pointe shoes and leotards in an outdoor park look easy. See more dance images from the session here and family and puppy images here.
Family Horse Farm Session
I love it when families and couples bring their horses and pets to their sessions, so I especially enjoyed shooting this group at a beautiful setting in Powhatan. The animals were troopers on a very hot day! See more here.
Dog Birthday Party!
It is not every day that you get a chance to do an event like this! It was Duke the Frenchie's first birthday, and his human and dog friends were both there for a good time. See more here!
