I’ve had my busiest May of shooting since I opened up shop, but it’s been a great time! Here are a few highlights, but if you follow along on Facebook, I’ll post plenty more there.
Spring is here!
I’m enjoying a busy spring, between engagements, petting farm portrait specials at Flat Creek Farm in Amelia, and a few maternity shoots. It’s been great meeting everyone! You can follow along for the latest work on my Facebook page.
Fall and Winter Wrapup - thank you, everyone!
I am long overdue for a blog post on my site, but after entering a very busy season, I prioritized getting galleries delivered and am finally catching up on sharing some of my work with the rest of you now that shooting has wound down a bit over the holidays! 2019 was a great year and I am thankful once again for all the clients and friends who have supported me and helped me continue to build business. L wanted her senior photos with Sampson, so that’s what we did! We got a beautiful September evening with lots of sunset light and Sampson was a good boy. Can’t beat that!

Ella's Senior Session
I can't say enough how easy this girl made my job--she was a natural in front of the camera and I really enjoyed getting to meet her and work with her to create her senior casuals. The outfits she picked were spot-on for the light and colors of the site we picked. You can see more from her session here.
Ammie + Ariel Senior Casual and Equine Session
Meet Ammie and this lovely and fun little jumper mare, Ariel. These two were a joy to photograph and I'm so grateful we were blessed with a warm day, spring colors, and the perfect amount of clouds for shooting out in the open. View more images from the session here on my Facebook page.
Families and Seniors
I've been busy doing more family sessions lately, especially now that fall is approaching! We've found some great spots in a few locations--Midlothian Mines and Totopotomoy have both had wonderful background scenery, among other places.
