I love this family and am so excited for them as they welcome A to the family :)
As I edit through the latest round of shoots this week, I have to go ahead and share a bunch from last Thursday's mini sessions at Alvis Farms LLC. Editing this sweet mom-daughter duo made my day! We had a great time out in the sunflowers--I'm doing one more set out there tomorrow while the flowers are still in bloom, and then we will just have to wait until next year to get back out :) See lots more from this mother-daughter shoot here.
We had a great time shooting some sunflower minis at Alvis Farms in Manakin-Sabot and I’m looking forward to more later this week! Check out these awesome twins and their matching outfits—they came to me last year for sunflower photos, so it was neat to get round two in and see how much they’ve grown! Lulu the Frenchie is having puppies soon—her announcement session is one of the most unique things I’ve gotten to shoot. We had a great time! Check out the rest of her sunsetty session here: https://laurasieglephotographyllc.passgallery.com/-lulu
Here are a few images from a recent bridal session--this bride was a trooper through a very hot evening, but we had some lovely sunset light and we got to include her awesome dog! View more from this session at https://laurasieglephotographyllc.passgallery.com/-lbridalportraits.
I recently had the opportunity to capture some special memories of Dale and Dolly for their lovely owner. It was a beautiful morning!
This couple got married at the Jamestown 4-H setting, which provided a lovely view of the James River and some handy beaches for wedding party photos. They had a beautiful day and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to capture it! View more from their day here.
It is hard to beat a barn wedding when that barn is right in the backyard of your childhood home. Erin and Will picked a beautiful day to celebrate with friends and family and they transformed their Amelia County family farm into a pretty awesome venue for a wedding day! Congratulations, guys! See more highlights from their day here.

It was great to see this little guy again—I shot his newborn images a last year :) He wasn’t so sure he wanted to get dirty, but he did find out that icing tastes pretty good.
Fall is usually a busy season, but this one was certainly the biggest I’ve ever had. Here’s a little bit of what I was up to with my “regular” portrait work, and since there were plenty of horse sessions this fall, those are in here too! Keep up with my work on Facebook.
This one is short and sweet—check out this awesome little dude!
When you have an outdoor wedding, you never know what is going to happen with the weather, and starting right before Lizzie and Warren's ceremony, the skies really opened and we had a night of heavy rain and not quite the sunset we were hoping to shoot in. Nonetheless, these two took it in stride, moved the whole thing under their reception tent, and partied on with friends! Thank you so much for letting me take part in your day--I wish you both many blessings and happy years in this adventure into married life! See the rest of their sample gallery here.

It's not every day that you get photobombed by a donkey during a session, but this was that day! I met Nicole a while back when she did the bride's hair for a wedding I shot, so it was neat to meet up again for a maternity shoot with her family! We enjoyed our little visitor in one of the fields at BB Equestrian, too. I usually share a winner, but why not an outtake? Of course, you can see a few more of the "keepers" here.
I can't say enough how easy this girl made my job--she was a natural in front of the camera and I really enjoyed getting to meet her and work with her to create her senior casuals. The outfits she picked were spot-on for the light and colors of the site we picked. You can see more from her session here.
I was worried about an incoming storm during Amber and Clayton's shoot, but the moodier light we got turned this session into one of my all-time favorites. The water was a fitting backdrop, as their baby will probably spend some time enjoying kayaking with them later on! They are looking forward to meeting their little one soon! See their gallery here.
I've shot a lot of unique sessions, but this was a first--Taylor and Fallon gave me the opportunity to capture outdoor dance images as well as some family images with their new puppies, who were perfectly behaved throughout. These girls made ballet with pointe shoes and leotards in an outdoor park look easy. See more dance images from the session here and family and puppy images here.
It's not every day that you get to photograph twins as cute as these two! This family is the sweetest and this farm was the perfect setting for their portraits. We caught the sunflowers at just the right time! See more from the shoot on Facebook.
