About Me

Welcome to my page! I operate Laura Siegle Photography LLC out of Amelia County, Virginia and travel all around the Richmond region, central Virginia, and beyond to capture portraits. I focus primarily on equine photography, families, couples, seniors, children, and weddings.

I particularly enjoy the challenges of using natural light to create artistic images and bringing photos to life with creative editing. Capturing the meaningful, candid expressions of my subjects is my priority.

I gravitate towards rural and outdoor settings -- I’ve maintained a lifelong passion for horses and livestock and working with farms. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2012 with undergraduate degrees in Dairy Science and Animal and Poultry Sciences and a teaching masters in Agricultural Education. In addition to running my photography business, I currently enjoy a full-time career as a firefighter.

My work has been shared in Horse Illustrated, Virginia Farm Bureau News, Progressive Dairy Progressive Forage, and Virginia Living.
