Sunflowers summer 2020 are a wrap! I shot these during the Alvis Farms 2nd Annual Sunflower Festival in Manakin (a few minutes outside of short pump). The sunflowers were spectacular, the field was huge, and the sunset was great the night I was out there! Maternity, Family, and...Donkey!
It's not every day that you get photobombed by a donkey during a session, but this was that day! I met Nicole a while back when she did the bride's hair for a wedding I shot, so it was neat to meet up again for a maternity shoot with her family! We enjoyed our little visitor in one of the fields at BB Equestrian, too. I usually share a winner, but why not an outtake? Of course, you can see a few more of the "keepers" here.

Double Maternity+Family Portrait Session
If one maternity session is good, two is better! These two families are so sweet and they are looking forward to introducing new cousins this fall.
