I am long overdue for a blog post on my site, but after entering a very busy season, I prioritized getting galleries delivered and am finally catching up on sharing some of my work with the rest of you now that shooting has wound down a bit over the holidays! 2019 was a great year and I am thankful once again for all the clients and friends who have supported me and helped me continue to build business. Here are just a couple images from throughout the fall and winter to show you what I’ve been up to—head to my facebook page to see many more updates and sneak peeks, as I post sessions more frequently there as well! I’ve also updated my offerings for 2020, and I’ve added a new package for those seeking black background images and wall art of their horses. Happy new year, friends!
Little Red Wagon One-Year Session
Waylon is turning one! The last time I saw him, we shot his six-month photos. It has been neat to watch all these little babies growing up so fast!
Senior Horse + Rider Portrait Session
L wanted her senior photos with Sampson, so that’s what we did! We got a beautiful September evening with lots of sunset light and Sampson was a good boy. Can’t beat that!
Park Bridal Session
Here are a few images from a recent bridal session--this bride was a trooper through a very hot evening, but we had some lovely sunset light and we got to include her awesome dog! View more from this session at https://laurasieglephotographyllc.passgallery.com/-lbridalportraits.
2018 Fall and Winter Family Photo Catch-Up...and More Ponies!
Fall is usually a busy season, but this one was certainly the biggest I’ve ever had. Here’s a little bit of what I was up to with my “regular” portrait work, and since there were plenty of horse sessions this fall, those are in here too! Keep up with my work on Facebook.
D + K Richmond Engagement Session
I love these two friends and it was a privilege to shoot some engagement images for them. I'm also a big fan of their dog, Shelby, and I'm really glad they brought her along :)
Family of Four February Portraits
I photographed this family when they were three last fall, so it was really wonderful to get the opportunity to photograph them as a group of four this time on a bright winter day :) See more sneaks of their Midlothian family portrait session.
Winter Family Session
It was a cold day, but I enjoyed meeting this lovely family for some winter portraits in Chesterfield at Midlothian Mines Park! See more of their gallery here.
Families and Seniors
I've been busy doing more family sessions lately, especially now that fall is approaching! We've found some great spots in a few locations--Midlothian Mines and Totopotomoy have both had wonderful background scenery, among other places.
